A design inspired by the abundance of anti-pigeon devices that decorate the roof tops and window sills of every major city, the frame of this chandelier is layered in three inch nails and finished with a rusted effect.
In contrast to detering pigeons (as the spikes would suggest) this piece celebrates them. A recurring theme in Alex’s work is the celebration of vermin. Although regarded as the dirty cousin to the dove these twenty three feral birds gracefully lift the orb heavenward.
